Victron GX Integration

Expose Phaeton to the GX as an EVCS and optionally read GX system data for Auto mode.

EVCS Server

Phaeton exposes a Victron-compatible EV Charging Station over Modbus TCP. On Venus OS, Phaeton uses settings that fit the GX device and avoid conflicts with the built-in Modbus service.

GX Data For Auto Mode

Auto mode works best when Phaeton can read PV, grid, load, and battery values from the GX. Enable the GX integration only when that data source is reachable.

Validation

  • Use the GX test button in onboarding or configuration.
  • Confirm the GX host and port are reachable from Phaeton.
  • Verify dashboard values before enabling Auto mode.
